On April 16 local time, Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov inspected the construction progress of the NB Highway upgrade project undertaken by China Railway No.5 Engineering Group.
At the construction site, Prime Minister Japarov listened to reports from Minister of Transport Abdisattor Shergabayev and Naryn City Mayor Kambolat Musayevich on the overall status of the project. He fully affirmed the current work of the China Railway No.5 Engineering Group project team and instructed the Ministry of Transport to support the project by ensuring electricity supply for production and site selection for material yards. He emphasized that China Railway No.5 Engineering Group must accelerate construction progress as scheduled to ensure timely completion and create favorable conditions for participating in more future projects.
The NB Highway upgrade project, located in Naryn Region, Kyrgyzstan, is part of the Naryn-Baetovo Highway. It is designed as a Class III road with two lanes in both directions, featuring asphalt pavement and related facilities such as road markings. Upon completion, the project will provide local residents with a more comfortable travel experience and promote high-quality economic and social development in the Naryn Region.?
